Each pot plant has the colour written in te reo Maaori to support the continued development of both national languages of New Zealand. And we've included 8 different flowers colours, so you can choose which ones you use each time thus keeping the game dynamic - and the children guessing.
Used as a Transition Activity its a great rhyming game to support the development of new relationships. All activity, transition & game cards have the direct links to Te Whariki written at the bottom so it couldn't be easier to add this very useful resource to your programme planning.
It can also be the prompt for physical activity and role play - out in the garden!. The White / Ma flower also is the 'odd one out' as its the only one with a pot plant 'saucer'.
