Sorting Game Cut out fish patterns (if you cut 2 of each the same they can also be used for sorting games - check out our felt fish they're the perfect resource for these activities).
Put up a string line across a small area. Let children practice small motor skills by attaching the fish to the "net". Fishing Using a Cardboard box, or any kind of screen set up a fishing area.
Make a fishing pole from a stick and some string. Child sit in the box or behind the screen with the fish. Tell them that their job is to put the correct fish on the line by asking them questions that they can answer i.e. find the 2 blues fishes or put 3 fish on the line. All pieces are pre cut ready to use.
